I'm kind of in between these days w/ my Halloween things and my Christmas things. Some days it's Halloween, some days it's Christmas, and some days (like today lol!) it's both (see my post below.) ;) When I saw the challenge for this week I immediately thought of my Gingerbread Lane stamps and dies set...<br />

Fall or Halloween? Count me in! LOL! Unfortunately I only have two Pink By Design stamp sets and one is Christmas. (I will have to try and remedy this situation soon! ;) And the other is the Mad Scientist set...but I thought some of these stamps could double for Halloween. ;) Here is my take on the challenge...<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://s1254.photobucket.com/albums/hh610/landerson1018/?action=view&current=HalloweenCards20124_zps2a29efae.jpg" target="_blank"><img alt="HalloweenCards20124" border="0" src="http://i1254.photobucket.com/albums/hh610/landerson1018/HalloweenCards20124_zps2a29efae.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I made a pillow box to put in the goody bags for the kids for our annual Halloween party. I made the little amoeba blob into a cute little monster by adding one of the faces that come w/ the set to him. Isn't he adorable? ;) I almost (but not quite lol!) like having just the two stamp sets. It forces me to think outside the box w/ them.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Hope you like it, I had lots of fun w/ it!</div>

This weeks <a href="http://nicholeheady.typepad.com/capture_the_moment/2012/10/make-it-monday-86-.html">Make It Monday #86</a> is hosted by <a href="http://ashleynewell.com/blog/">Ashley Cannon Newell</a> (LOVE HER!) She has challenged us to dress up the inside of our cards as well as the outside. I've been thinking about this for some time now. I get so caught up on the outside of the card, I forget that people read what's on the INSIDE. Duh, right. Total goofball moment. So I am taking this challenge and I am going to run with it! From now on I am going to do a little dressing on the inside of my cards as well. (At least I am going to try to! Lol!) Here is my take...(the left side is the front of the card and the right side is what's on the inside.)<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://s1254.photobucket.com/albums/hh610/landerson1018/?action=view&current=ChristmasCards_zpsbaacffdf.jpg" target="_blank"><img alt="ChristmasCards" border="0" src="http://i1254.photobucket.com/albums/hh610/landerson1018/ChristmasCards_zpsbaacffdf.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I usually forget about journaling cards...I don't know why...I guess I tend to make my own, but how awesome does this work to have one on the inside of a card?! I'm such a nut. I'm sure crafters have probably been doing this for ages now. ;)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I've been loving this trend I'm seeing of just a bit of patterned paper poking out of one side or the other of a card so I have decided to try it here. I'm also still loving the negative die cut trend. ;)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Hope you like it. I had fun making it and it was so simple! I'm thinking maybe some mass production for Christmas. ;)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I would love to hear your thoughts so please leave a comment if you wish. ;)</div>

But rest assured, they were ALL made on Saturday! :) I rarely get an opportunity to just craft all day, so that is what I did. ;) Little bit was off spending time with NaNa, and DH was at work, sooooo, this is the result... :)<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://s1254.photobucket.com/albums/hh610/landerson1018/?action=view&current=ChristmasCards_zpsb6febe08.jpg" target="_blank"><img alt="ChristmasCards" border="0" src="http://i1254.photobucket.com/albums/hh610/landerson1018/ChristmasCards_zpsb6febe08.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This one took awhile...I was debating which pattened paper to use, then I was deciding how many diamonds to glitter, then I was glittering them up...and I was loving every minute! :) It actually turned out pretty cute. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://s1254.photobucket.com/albums/hh610/landerson1018/?action=view&current=ChristmasCards_zps55fbc48a.jpg" target="_blank"><img alt="ChristmasCards" border="0" src="http://i1254.photobucket.com/albums/hh610/landerson1018/ChristmasCards_zps55fbc48a.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
With this one I was still working with last week's Make It Monday technique: Glitter Tabs. I really like this technique. Just the right amount of sparkle and vintage look. ;)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://s1254.photobucket.com/albums/hh610/landerson1018/?action=view&current=ChristmasCards_zps2c143cd5.jpg" target="_blank"><img alt="ChristmasCards" border="0" src="http://i1254.photobucket.com/albums/hh610/landerson1018/ChristmasCards_zps2c143cd5.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Here are several more...I was on a Christmas card kick for some reason. ;) And I just really wanted to use my PTI Santa Stationary stamps! :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Hope you enjoy them. I had a blast on Saturday just paper crafting all by my lonesome. ;)</div>

I had to wait until today to be able to make it (gotta wait til the little one is napping) and so it evolved a bit. ;) But I still like it. ;) Here it is...<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://s1254.photobucket.com/albums/hh610/landerson1018/?action=view&current=resize_zpsfcf7d852.jpg" target="_blank"><img alt="resize" border="0" src="http://i1254.photobucket.com/albums/hh610/landerson1018/resize_zpsfcf7d852.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I'm still waiting for Papertrey Ink's suppliers to fix the Pure Poppy and Raspberry Fizz problem so that I can order those inks, but it led me to this color combo so I can't be too perturbed. ;) I also used <a href="http://dawnmcvey.typepad.com/">Dawn McVey</a>'s embossing and glitter technique for the popped up snowflakes. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Here are a few more angles and the biggest card is the muse's card from which I came up with my idea. :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

There are just sooooooooo many possibilities for these colors! I chose Halloween, but I'm also thinking of doing a Christmas and Thinking of You card with these colors as well! :) Here is my take...<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://s1254.photobucket.com/albums/hh610/landerson1018/?action=view&current=resize_zps6d7d36c0.jpg" target="_blank"><img alt="resize" border="0" src="http://i1254.photobucket.com/albums/hh610/landerson1018/resize_zps6d7d36c0.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Isn't that color combo fun?! I was inspired by Arielle of <a href="http://snappystamper.blogspot.com/">Snappy Stappin' w/ Arielle's </a>style. I adore it! She is super amazing!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Here are a few more angles and the Color Story is in the bottom right. ;)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This was my first attempt so I have some parts that are lighter than others, but I really like this technique. It adds just the right amount of pizzazz to your cards. ;)</div>

I have played along with <a href="http://casestudychallenge.blogspot.com.au/">CASE Study</a> again this week. ;) I love this challenge site, it's one of my favorites. :) I'm almost at the end of my Halloween card making, but not the end of the crafting in general. <br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I don't have the larger Mat Stacks to coordinate with the ones I already have (yet,lol) so I improvised a little and cut the black one in half so it would shadow the top and bottom. ;)</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
Here are a few more angles and the muse's card (in the top right corner.)</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I've always loved it when people use the negatives from their die cuts to make something else. I think it's a great way to use as much of your paper as possible. ;) I also love the white on white...I forget about it sometimes, but it's a really wonderful effect. ;)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Here are some more angles and the sketch is in the bottom left corner. ;)</div>

I decided to play along with the <a href="http://casestudychallenge.blogspot.com.au/">CASE Study challenge</a> and the muse's card gave me a cute (scary?) idea for a skeleton card.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I interpreted the scalloped bordered on the muse's card as drips. I like how it looks as though the pattern is dripping away...</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Here are some more angles and the muse's card (in the bottom right corner.)</div>

The challenge over on <a href="http://cas-ualfridays.blogspot.com/">CAS-ual Fridays</a> is to used Black and White + One...so I thought I could combine the two. ;) Two birds with one stone and all that...but really the two together inspired me to make this card, which was fun, and I think it came out rather cute. Or scary, depending if you like spiders or not. Lol!<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I LOVE the little glitter black on black spider web at the top. It's just enough without being too much...you know what I mean? ;)</div>

<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Hope you like it, it was fun to make and came together so easily! It could be fun to make a set with different images in the oval...hmmm... ;)</div>

I love the colors this week, and when I saw this new Recollections Fall and Night stack at Michael's I thought I could use the cute-sy Halloween paper for a cute little Halloween card. Normally I am a scary Halloween person, but I LOVE the colors in this stack and they are a close match to the colors for this weeks challenge...so I went for it. And I just adore this card. :)<br />
<br />

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Isn't that paper fun?!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I used the PTI Heart Border die to create the scalloped edging. I've seen it done before and wanted to try it out. ;)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

Not A Halloween Card?!LOL! I've been working on Halloween stuff pretty intensely these last few weeks. But I got some happy mail the other day courtesy of <a href="http://jgsnook.blogspot.com.au/">Jay Gee's Nook</a> (I was a randomly drawn winner! Woohoo!) and I had to play with my new stamps! :) It is a super cute Owl set from Jane's Doodles. Thank you so much Jay Gee! :)<br />
<br />
I used this weeks <a href="http://retrosketches.blogspot.com/">Retro Sketch</a> and I need to get my rearend in gear because the challenge closes soon! :) Haha! Here is my take...<br />

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I just love that owl don't you? The owl and the heart are actually separate stamps. I just thought it would look cuter with the heart in there to go with the sentiment. :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Here is a close up and a different angle.</div>

Busy w/ family stuff. But good family stuff. We are doing some remodeling of the house so I will get pics up as soon as it is all done. :)<br />
<br />
I had a little time so I decided to join in with the <a href="http://casestudychallenge.blogspot.com.au/">CASE Study Challenge</a> this week. As most of you know I have been having trouble uploading pics (blogger wanting me to pay for more storage...what's up with that?!) Anyhoo, so you will have to follow the link to the challenge blog to see the Muse's card we are CASEing this week. :)<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Here is my interpretation of the card. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I know it's a shocker, I turned it into a Halloween card. LOL! :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
And a side shot...</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

(If you read the previous post you know that all of her decorations for ALL the holidays are still back at her old house with my brother. :) I think she liked it just a bit...lol... :)<br />
<br />
<a href="http://s1254.photobucket.com/albums/hh610/landerson1018/?action=view&current=24749d63.jpg" target="_blank"><img alt="d4459766" border="0" src="http://i1254.photobucket.com/albums/hh610/landerson1018/24749d63.jpg" /></a><br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
I cut the banner shapers with my Cricut and the B is for Boy Lite cartridge. It was super fun to make! :)</div>
<br />
<a href="http://s1254.photobucket.com/albums/hh610/landerson1018/?action=view&current=467c1982.jpg" target="_blank"><img alt="Edited Size" border="0" src="http://i1254.photobucket.com/albums/hh610/landerson1018/467c1982.jpg" /></a><br />
<br />
Here are some close ups of each panel. If you notice my pics looking a bit different it's because I am now using Photobucket to upload them. I have reached my limit in Google and if I erase them they get taken off the blog (archives you know?) so I had to find another free way to share my photos....we will see how long this one lasts... :)<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
I hope you enjoy it. I really had a lot of fun making this banner! :)</div>

<br />
Woo Hoo I figured it out! Now I just need to figure out how to make the pics smaller... ;)<br />
<br />
ETA: Sorry I didn't share details of this earlier...I was trying to figure out how to get my pics on here without having to buy extra storage from Google or anywhere else...some of us are on a budget and doesn't Google make a TON of money on advertising? Why do we have to pay for extra storage?! Kind of made me mad at the time...anyhoo...<br />
<br />
I actually made these blocks for my Mom. she saw them is a magazine and wanted some for her apartment. (All of her decor is back in Austin still...) The mag said to use foam blocks, but I thought the foam would be too light and I couldn't find any wooden blocks at our local Michael's (we were in a hurry because Zachary was getting antsy) and so I happened upon some plastic photo cubes. They weren't too expensive, they were light enough not to hurt if they fell on your foot ;) and they were solid so if Zac got a hold of them they wouldn't be crushed to bits. :)<br />
<br />
I used Modge Podge for the glue and sealer. I have actually never worked with Modge Podge before, and now I think I'm addicted! :)<br />
<br />
Hope you like them. I had a ton of fun making them. :) I would love to hear your thoughts so please leave a comment if you wish. :)<br />

Then I saw on <a href="http://nicholeheady.typepad.com/capture_the_momen">Nichole Heady's blog</a> that they were doing a Halloween Inspirational Event with Mr. Bones!<br />
<br />

<div style="text-align: center;">
These are just two of many...I am making them all different. It's more fun that way. ;) But if it comes to crunch time it's really easy to whip out a bunch of the same. :)<br />
<br />
Hope you like them. ;) I would love to hear your thoughts so please leave a comment if you wish.<br />
<br />
<br />
And hopefully I will be back with more...I just need to figure out how to get extra storage space for my photos because I can no longer upload them here unless I pay ;( Sad day. If anyone has any ideas for free ways to get my photos to show up here let me know. I tried Flickr and Photobucket but Blogger refuses to recognize the URL's. If I can't get this remedied soon I won't be able to post anymore without deleting my archives...what are your suggestions and/or thoughts on this subject? :)<br />

I actually made this card a few days ago, but I'm just now getting the time to post. ;) I may do a second take...I was looking through the other entries and getting inspired! :) But for now here is the original card I decided to make...<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGBXnwJH2IQzm31LatY9887k_KINiBu4QguAWKyP1lJcqNhtMv_yyUuTw3hZsIPWwnSayAhwm3AOx0I5wVZHJnnF55fBjv_L0V9AqCtNGaQe1-WRFyqVtQauDCR_2Y7_-eeTLKYnAAdHg/s1600/DSCN1799.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="216" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGBXnwJH2IQzm31LatY9887k_KINiBu4QguAWKyP1lJcqNhtMv_yyUuTw3hZsIPWwnSayAhwm3AOx0I5wVZHJnnF55fBjv_L0V9AqCtNGaQe1-WRFyqVtQauDCR_2Y7_-eeTLKYnAAdHg/s320/DSCN1799.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I just love Mr. Bones. ;)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
This is a super CAS card. I was a little weary of trying to make a garland this way so that it has movement. Usually I just glue in all down so it only looks like a garland, but it doesn't actually move. ;)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
I'm not sure how I feel about the placement...like I said I think I will try a second time with some dancing Mr. Bones... ;) We will see if time will allow today. :)</div>

<br />
It's the last week of the anniversary celebrations over at the<a href="http://casestudychallenge.blogspot.com.au/"> CASE Study Challenge</a>. The last hurrah is to CASE yourself. ;) I have plenty of cards that I have wanted to re-do, but I was looking through my archives and found a card I really liked and thought "Hey, I can make a cool Halloween card from this!" :) If you've been around you know I LOVE Halloween (I don't think I can say it enough! LOL!)<br />
So here is the original card...<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhLH2oirCBADPJXh3SJI5PKboUhAB5TRWVsmyAGMKJBnvyeD_5sKe1tWj5dsPtwyTTOWW6A11kw2vDG5aUlXkbqKEAZiBKlnxceWXoQTyVkan9rzD4cSq27bJsmHaGiIeVfuZ7caDUj5Zk/s1600/DSCN0968.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhLH2oirCBADPJXh3SJI5PKboUhAB5TRWVsmyAGMKJBnvyeD_5sKe1tWj5dsPtwyTTOWW6A11kw2vDG5aUlXkbqKEAZiBKlnxceWXoQTyVkan9rzD4cSq27bJsmHaGiIeVfuZ7caDUj5Zk/s320/DSCN0968.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
And you can find the original post <a href="http://laurenslittlecraftyplace.blogspot.com/2012/03/cas-ual-friday-1st-for-me.html">HERE</a>.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
And the new one. :)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
Isn't Little Ghosty cute? PTI is pretty much AMAZING! :) I love the new Happy Hauntings set. The ghost and all the different faces you can make for him are just too adorable...or spooky...or frightening....or whatever you want! :)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
