Mojo Monday at the Last Minute! :)

So I really waited til the last minute for Mojo Monday this week, LOL! Here is the sketch...

 And my interpretation:

 All of the DP and card stock is Recollections.

 The edge punch is Fiskar's Apron Lace. The circle and scallop circle are PTI Limitless Layers. The flower stamp is Studio G and the sentiment stamp is Recollections.

The ribbon is from my stash. :)

Blessings from yesterday: I got to spend the whole day with my Mom and my Son. (Daddy was out of town):  But we had a blast! :)

 The gingham paper is from my stash. :) I also got some new Papertrey Ink goodies that I just had to play with! :)

Papertrey Ink Make It Monday #69

I get to play along with Papertrey Ink Make It Monday this week, Yay! :) This week it's all about taking everyday inspiration and turning it into sketches to use for cards. There are several sketches to use, but I chose this one...

 And here is my take...

 All of the DP and card stock is Recollections. The patterned paper is from the Mosaic Memories Stack and the Bold Basics Stack.

 PTI Products: Tag Sale #5 die, Double Ended Banners die, Mat Stack #3 stamp set.

The middle banner is embossed with a Paper Studio wood grain embossing folder. The butterflies were punched using Martha Stewart Classic butterfly punch. I used Tsukineko ink for the stamp.

Color Throwdown Time :)

Since Zachary spent Friday night and all day Saturday with his NaNa I got some papercrafting done! Plus I am working on the BIG birthday cards per my Mom's request so here is another BIG birthday card using this weeks Color Throwdown Challenge.

 Here is my interpretation...

 PTI Products: Wine Bottle Tag Die, Tag Sale #5 die, Limitless Layers Oval die, Happy Days stamp set.

The bling is The Paper Studio and the ribbon is American Crafts.

Some More Jingle Belles...Finally :)

It's been awhile since I've played along with the Jingle Belles. I just haven't been in the Christmas mood :( But this challenge changed all that! :) For these two weeks the challenge is to use music in your card or be inspired by a Christmas Carol. I chose to be inspired by Silent Night (one of my fav Christmas Carols.)

 I'm hoping this new place where I am taking photos of the cards and projects is better, but eh.

 The stars are a PTI stamp (from the build a banner stamp set) and I stamped some of them in blue Colorbox Ink and some of them I embossed in gold.

 I hand cut the "hills" out of some GCD Studios and DCWV Christmas paper. The banner is a PTI die, the stamp is from my stash, and the bling is Studio G.

I pop dotted the whole panel. :)

BIG Birthday and A Retro Sketch

So my Mom asked me the other day to make a few bigger birthday cards for her office to have on hand so that everyone could sign them. So I took an 8.5x11 piece of card stock and folded it in half so that it is now 5.5x8.5. I think that's just right. Lol! :) Here is my first one and I used this Retro Sketch....

 And here is my take...

 The card stock is Recollections.

 The stamp I used to make the column is a Studio G stamp. and the bigger butterfly is Autumn Leaves. The banner die is PTI.

This is a pretty HUGE card, but I think it will work for my Mom's purposes. :)
