It's Been A Long Time...Freshly Made :)

I haven't played along with the Freshly Made Sketches challenge in a while, no reason, just haven't. :) But I got to this week! :) Here is the sketch...

 And here is my interpretation...

 I got a big package of PTI paper (thanks for enabling me MOM! Muah!) And I couldn't wait to play with it! I used Aqua Mish card stock and ink, Dark Chocolate Patterned pack, card stock, and ink. :)

 I used the Limitless Layers Ovals dies and the Happy Days die and stamp set. :) (All PTI.)

Mojo Monday and CR84FN: A Match Made in Heaven! :)

Having issues with blogger...posting before I am done! LOL! So anyhoo Mojo Monday has an awesome sketch again this week (are they ever NOT awesome?) Here is the sketch...

And CR84FN has an awesome color combo...

This is one of my favorite color combos! I don't normally combine challenges but I do like this combo of sketch and color...maybe I will try that more in the future! :)

 Here is my take...

 All DP is Recollections. Grey card stock is Recollections as well, but the neutral color is PTI Fine Linen.

 PTI Products: Limitless Layers circles die, Double Ended Banners die, Smokey Shadow ink, and Movers and Shakers stamp set. The other scallop circle and layered circle are Spellbinders. The YOU was stamped using an alpha set from my stash.

Make It Monday #70 Papertrey Ink

Yay I get to play along with Make It Monday with Papertrey Ink this week too! :) So today they asked us to incorporate a sort of quilting technique using fabric...at first I was super intimidated and thought "Man, I can't do that!" But as I was watching the video, I started thinking..."well I may as well give it a go and see what happens." :) While I think with practice and some trial and error I may get a bit better at it, here is my first go...

 This is the fabric I used. It was left over from making the leaf props for a dance class at the studio where I work. :)

 Here is the finished product. :) PTI Products: Fine Linen and Smokey Shadow patterned pack and card stock, Notebook Page die, Double Ended Banners die, and Mat Stack #3 stamp set.

 The button is American Crafts and the Floss is from my stash. The bling is Michael's brand and the edge punch is EK Success.

Here is a side shot so you can see the "quilting" effect. I didn't have any foam so I cut three circles using my Spellbinders circle dies (that's also the same set I used to cut the bigger negative hole) and adhered them together with foam tape. :)

Pink and Gray

This week over on the Dynamic Duos Challenge blog the colors are...

 And my interpretation...

 I used a slightly darker shade of pink for the card base. All DP and card stock is Recollections.

 PTI Products: Mini Mendhi Medallion stamps set, Double Ended Banner die, Movers and Shakers stamp set, and Smokey Shadow Ink. :)

The bling is Studio G.

Polka Dots

Over on the CAS-ual Fridays blog the challenge this week is to create a project using polka dots.

 I'm not 100% happy with this particular card, and the fact that it's a sympathy card didn't help. :( My Aunt Mary Sue's best friend past away from cancer this weekend and the funeral is next weekend so I am sending a card with my Mom because the funeral is out of town and I cannot attend. :(

Anyhoo, here is my take...

 I was trying a new-to-me technique with my PTI Mini Mendhi Medallion stamp set. I took one of the smaller stamps and stamped a strip alternating colors.

 PTI Products: Smokey Shadow and Fine Linen patterned papers, Mini Mendhi Medallion stamps set. The sentiment is Inkadinkado and the bling is The Paper Studio. The edge punch is Martha Stewart Deco Fan.

One Layer

Over on the "Less is More" blog this week it's the one layer card challenge and you have to use a flourish. I think these stamps count as flourishes...just circle ones ;) I haven't just stamped on a card in awhile. But it was fun with my new PTI Mini Mendhi Medallions stamp set! :) Here is my take on the challenge...

 The ink is Tsukineko and PTI. :) Card stock is Recollections.

 I guess if the stamps don't count as flourishes there are some little ones in the sentiment stamp. (Which is also PTI, the Movers and Shakers stamp set.)
