Make It Monday #65 PTI

As you know I love any and all things PTI so I decided to play along with this weeks Make It Monday #65. The challenge is to use some of your DP scraps to make a background. Here is my take...

These are just a few of the papers I used from my scrap pile and the EK Success edge puncher I used. (I have wanted this one for awhile and it was on clearance at Hobby Lobby so I jumped on it!)
All of the DP scraps are Recollections and because it is a thinner paper, I had a rough time with the punch. :( so some of the strips may look a little funky. O well.
PTI products: doily die, double ended banner die, Happy Days die and stamp set.
The pink bling is Studio G. It was hard to get a picture of, but there are a couple of layers using pop dots. :)
While I like the way this turned out...I may stick to using card stock in this particular punch. :)

Thanks for looking. I would love to hear your thoughts so please leave a comment if you wish. :)

  1. What a clever way to use up those paper scraps! Nice job!

  2. Adorable! I love the zigzag! I was totally gonna use my rickrack die to do the same thing! Darn...gonna have to try and come up with something new! :) great job!

  3. I love the ric-rac style die cut patterns -great way to do the challenge. Your focal design is beautifully layered as well-all fits together perfectly
