Mojo Monday for a Wedding :)

I've needed to work on this wedding gift for awhile and I just finished it the other day. I kept thinking about it and revising it in my head and finally I just thought, "Man, I just need to get into my paper and DO IT!" LOL! :) So this may be a bit picture heavy. :)

For the card I used this weeks Mojo Monday Sketch...the round one. :)
 Here is my interpretation...

That lace in the background is actually from their wedding invitation. ;)
PTI Products: Limitless Layers Circles dies, Tag Sale #5 die, Happy Days Stamp Set
The card base itself is the largest circle in the Spellbinders Lacey Circles die set. The flower is from my stash.
All of the DP is DCWV. Some from the Black Currant Stack and some from the Linen Closet Stack.
This is just a little treat box I made so the bag wasn't so empty with just the card and gift card in it. :) It a toilet paper roll that I covered in paper and then glued one side together. Looks like a sour cream treat box huh? I wish I could I take credit for the idea but I can't. It either came from a blog that I follow or Pinterest...I can't remember which one as it was a while ago. (I REALLY need to start writing these things down! Lol.)
The ribbon is from my stash and the lace is from their invitation. :) The circles and oval are the Limitless Layers dies from PTI again. :)
Here is a little side view. I would have preferred to sew the end shut, but I do not currently have a sewing machine and also see the sidebar for my short bio. ;) LOL!
This is the gift card holder I made for their actual gift! :) LOL! I used the PTI gift card holder die, Happy Days die and stamp set, Limitless Layers Circles die, and the Heart border die.
I popped the panel up a bit with foam tape.
Here is the bag for all the goodies to go in. I was going to use a white bag, but for some reason I though the Kraft bag looked better...
I used Recollections card stock cut into two strips and edge punched with an EK Success Scallop with Diamonds edge puncher to make the rosette.
PTI Products: Doily die, Heart Border die, Tag Sale #5 die, Happy Days die and stamp set.
Here is a picture of the bundle all together. :)

Hope you like it.

Papertrey Ink May Blog Hop Challenge

Woo hoo! I had time this month to participate!!!! Have I mentioned lately that I LOVE PTI!!! :) Here is the challenge photo....

Really cool huh? :) Here is my interpretation...
I adore the DCWV Lemon Flower stack! It's awesome. :)
The doily die, the circle die, and the "Happy Birthday" stamp are PTI. The bling is from Michael's. The border punch is EK Success Arrow Border.
It's hard to tell in the pics but the doily is actually black Colorbok glitter paper. :)
PS: I am trying a new spot out to get some better pics of my cards...let me know what you think. ;)
And last but definitely not least, here is the awesome Deconstructed Sketch I used! :)

Thanks for looking. I would love to hear your thoughts so please leave a comment if you wish. :)

Mojo Monday :)

Hello again! Lol! I actually played along with Mojo Monday last week as well but didn't have time to post it...O well. :) Here is this weeks sketch...
 And my humble interpretation...
I actually went to JoAnn's last week (I have been really good about not buying anything new and using my stash as I am saving for a new computer) and of course they were having a sale ;) So I had to pick up two DCWV Stacks that I had wanted for awhile... ;) O, I originally went to get some stuffing for my jazz girls so they could stuff the head dress part of their costume. :)
The flower stamp is Michael's and the "thanks" stamp and bling are Studio G. The edge punch is Martha Stewart Zig Zag.
I also popped the front panel up just a bit. :)

Thanks for looking. I would love to hear your thoughts so please leave a comment if you wish. :)

My First Dynamic Duos (#3 ;)

So I've wanted to play over on the Dynamic Duos blog for awhile now, and just yesterday had the time. ;) Here is the color combo...

 And here is my take...
I used Recollections patterned papers and card stock. The striped paper is from the Bright and Basics stack and the black circles paper is from the Black and White stack.
The shape is a PTI die (Mat Stack #3 I believe) and so are the ovals. The background banner is the PTI wine bottle tag die (love that one and have yet to use it on an actual wine bottle! :) Lol.) The ribbon is from my stash.
You can see a bit of the dimension in this picture. :)

Thanks for looking! I would love to hear your thoughts so please leave a comment if you wish. :)

CAS-ual Fridays: Punchy

Hello there. I know I haven't posting in any challenges lately...it's been super busy around here. ;) I've been working every evening and having to take Zachary to work with me...After the next two weeks it should sort of settle down though... ;)

I do have a quick little card I made for CAS-ual Fridays this week...

I used the PTI Happy Days die and stamps for this one (I also used an old CAS-ual Fridays sketch ;)
Here is a close up. I used Colorbox ink. Very quick and easy. :)

Thanks for looking. I would love to hear your thoughts so please leave a comment if you wish. :)

Water Boy...12x12 Layout

Another layout. Told you I've been working on them! :) Slowly but surely... :)

We don't have a pool and the nearest one requires us to get in the car, so we started letting Zachary play in the sprinkler when it was time to water the grass (which was only once, maybe twice a week because we were in a drought.) And Zachary LOVED IT! He was so silly. Rather than waste expensive swim diapers, we just let him go "neckeded." (That's how you say naked in the south. :)
I've been trying to use up the stickers in my stash so the "100% boy" is from said stash. The tab with the date is actually the very end of a PTI Half & Half die. the star and the "laugh" were cut using my Slice. The DP is all Recollections and DCWV varying stacks.
The title I cut also using my Slice and the Wedding card. I used some old metallic DCWV card stock.
The "fun" and the star were cut using my Slice and the doily is a PTI die.
I wrote the journalling by hand and I found those cool clear stickers that look like water drops in my stash! (Love when that happens!)

Thanks for looking. I would love to hear your thoughts so please leave a comment if you wish. :)

Blessings from yesterday: Zachary actually slept through the night!!! WOO HOO!!! :)

All Boy...Rough and Tumble

So I have another 12x12 scrapbook layout to share with you today...This was my sons first (and probably not last unfortunately) black eye. He was climbing the wrong way in his toddler chair and  flipped it and hit his eye smack dab on the coffee table. :(
Here is a close up of the journalling...I made the "notebook page" by rounding the bottom corners and using my EK Success Binding edge punch. The stamp is from my stash.
The DP is DCWV. The letter stickers are DCWV and Me and My Big Ideas. I used two EK Success edge punches (Binding Edge and Dotted Wave) and then a Fiskars border punch at the bottom. The card stock is Bazzill and Recollections.

Thanks for looking! I would love to hear your thoughts so please leave a comment if you wish. :)

Blessings from yesterday: Really understanding parents at the dance studio. I was subbing for a fellow teacher and had to bring my silly boy along and he was CRAZY! :)

Scrapbook Page! :)

Still catching up! :)

Puppy Love! :) My son LOVES his "Ruff Ruff!" They are always playing together!
I used my Cricut Expression and the Create A Critter cartridge for this cute little pup.
I used my Fiskars Notebook punch to punch the edges. The stickers around the photo are Colorbok. The BFF stickers are Momenta and the xoxox stamp is Inkadinkado.
The button is from my stash and the twine is from The Twinery.

All the DP and card stock is DCWV and Recollections. I didn't get a close up of it, but the title was cut with my Slice using the Noel card. Love that font.

Well thanks for looking. I would love to hear your thoughts so please leave a comment if you wish. :)

Blessings from yesterday: Daddy came home early so Zachary (who is still a bit under the weather) didn't have to go to the studio with me. Hurrah! :)

Mojo Monday! :)

Zac is sleeping longer than I thought so I wanted to go ahead and post this card I made for Mojo Monday #240. Here is the sketch....

 And my interpretation...
The whole panel (banner and circle) are pop dotted just a bit. DP: DCWV Black Currant stack, Recollections Bright and Basics stack and Floral Garden stack.
Dies: Spellbinders circle and lacey circle, PTI Happy Days (and stamps), tag sale #5, wine bottle tag. The flower is old Colorbok and the ribbon at the bottom there is American Crafts.
Here you can see the ribbon better and where I used the PTI wine bottle tag die. :)
Hope you like it! I think I am going to make a gift card holder and bag to go with this for a couple friends of ours who are getting married in June. :)

Thanks for looking, I would love to hear your thoughts so please leave a comment if you wish. :)

Time for a Layout! :)

I have been diligently working on getting caught up on Zachary's Scrapbook. I have a couple of layouts done, but just enough time to post one today. :)

This is (duh) an Easter layout. The photo is from Easter 2011. (Yes I am that far behind!)
I stamped the journaling box with purple Colorbox ink, and I was trying to use my stash more by getting those chip board pieces on there. I really like that grouping. :)
This egg stamp was a Michael's dollar bin find and I stamped and embossed it on velum in a couple different colors then fussy cut them out to create a border for the photo. :)
Again using some of my chip board words stash. :)
I cut the title with my Slice using the Wedding card. The banners were all hand cut.
Most of the DP is DCWV, the card stock is Recollections.
