I {heart} CAS-ual Fridays
So the challenge over on the CAS-ual Fridays blog is to make a card using hearts. I'm kind of in between these days w/ my Halloween things and my Christmas things. Some days it's Halloween, some days it's Christmas, and some days (like today lol!) it's both (see my post below.) ;) When I saw the challenge for this week I immediately thought of my Gingerbread Lane stamps and dies set...
...there's a boy and a girl and hearts and...it's just adorable. I love it.
Here are some more angles and the inside. ;)
I had fun w/ this one too, hope you guys like as well. ;)
I would love to hear your thoughts so please leave a comment if you wish. :)
Supply List:
Cardstock: PTI Dark Chocolate, Scarlet Jewel, Raspberry Fizz, and Berry Sorbet
DP: PTI Fine Linen patterned pack
Stamps: PTI Gngerbread Lane
Inks: PTI Dark Chocolate, Berry Sorbet, and Enchanted Evening
Dies: PTI Gingerbread Lane
Other: Foam Tape
Ink It Pink #15: Fall or Halloween ;)
I (of course) love the challenge going on over on the Ink It Pink Challenge Blog. Fall or Halloween? Count me in! LOL! Unfortunately I only have two Pink By Design stamp sets and one is Christmas. (I will have to try and remedy this situation soon! ;) And the other is the Mad Scientist set...but I thought some of these stamps could double for Halloween. ;) Here is my take on the challenge...
I made a pillow box to put in the goody bags for the kids for our annual Halloween party. I made the little amoeba blob into a cute little monster by adding one of the faces that come w/ the set to him. Isn't he adorable? ;) I almost (but not quite lol!) like having just the two stamp sets. It forces me to think outside the box w/ them.
Hope you like it, I had lots of fun w/ it!
I would love to hear your thoughts so please leave a comment if you wish. :)
Supply List:
Cardstock: Recollections Kraft, PTI True Black, DCWV Neutral
DP: Recollections Haunted Estate stack
Stamps: Pink By Design Mad Scientist and PTI Spooky Sweets
Inks: Tsukineko Eggplant, Wheat, and Spanish Olive, PTI True Black
Dies: PTI Mat Stack #4, Limitless Layers Ovals, and Essential Pillow Box

I added a little pop of orange. I felt it needed it. ;)
Here is another angle and the inside.
I'm pretty proud of myself for remembering to dress up the inside of the card too! ;)
I had fun making this card, I hope you enjoy it too. ;)
I would love to hear your thoughts so please leave a comment if you wish.

The Inside Edition ;)
Hello all. This weeks Make It Monday #86 is hosted by Ashley Cannon Newell (LOVE HER!) She has challenged us to dress up the inside of our cards as well as the outside. I've been thinking about this for some time now. I get so caught up on the outside of the card, I forget that people read what's on the INSIDE. Duh, right. Total goofball moment. So I am taking this challenge and I am going to run with it! From now on I am going to do a little dressing on the inside of my cards as well. (At least I am going to try to! Lol!) Here is my take...(the left side is the front of the card and the right side is what's on the inside.)
I usually forget about journaling cards...I don't know why...I guess I tend to make my own, but how awesome does this work to have one on the inside of a card?! I'm such a nut. I'm sure crafters have probably been doing this for ages now. ;)
I've been loving this trend I'm seeing of just a bit of patterned paper poking out of one side or the other of a card so I have decided to try it here. I'm also still loving the negative die cut trend. ;)
Hope you like it. I had fun making it and it was so simple! I'm thinking maybe some mass production for Christmas. ;)
I would love to hear your thoughts so please leave a comment if you wish. ;)
Supply List:
Cardstock: Recollections Kraft
DP: The Christmas and Winter Stack (2011) DCWV
Stamps: PTI Happiest of Holidays, Happy Harlequin, and Snow Globe (for the inside green stars)
Inks: PTI Scarlet Jewel, True Black, and New Leaf
Dies: PTI Mat Stack #4
Other: Foam Tape
World Card Making Day Cards :)
I had limited time on Saturday in which to make my cards so I couldn't post them until today. But rest assured, they were ALL made on Saturday! :) I rarely get an opportunity to just craft all day, so that is what I did. ;) Little bit was off spending time with NaNa, and DH was at work, sooooo, this is the result... :)
This one took awhile...I was debating which pattened paper to use, then I was deciding how many diamonds to glitter, then I was glittering them up...and I was loving every minute! :) It actually turned out pretty cute.
With this one I was still working with last week's Make It Monday technique: Glitter Tabs. I really like this technique. Just the right amount of sparkle and vintage look. ;)
Here are several more...I was on a Christmas card kick for some reason. ;) And I just really wanted to use my PTI Santa Stationary stamps! :)
Hope you enjoy them. I had a blast on Saturday just paper crafting all by my lonesome. ;)
I would love to hear your thoughts so please leave a comment if you wish.
Supply List:
I used a ton of stuff on all these cards so if you see something you are curious about, just leave a comment and I will get back to you about the product. ;)

A Pink CASE Study Christmas
I was looking at the CASE Study blog last night and the muse's card and all of a sudden I got the idea for this card. I had to wait until today to be able to make it (gotta wait til the little one is napping) and so it evolved a bit. ;) But I still like it. ;) Here it is...
I'm still waiting for Papertrey Ink's suppliers to fix the Pure Poppy and Raspberry Fizz problem so that I can order those inks, but it led me to this color combo so I can't be too perturbed. ;) I also used Dawn McVey's embossing and glitter technique for the popped up snowflakes.
Here are a few more angles and the biggest card is the muse's card from which I came up with my idea. :)
I had fun with this card too. ;) Hope you like it. I would love to hear your thoughts so please leave a comment if you wish.
Supply List:
Cardstock: PTI Berry Sorbet, Vintage Cream, and Fine Linen
Stamps: PTI Snowflake Medley and Happiest Holidays
Inks: PTI Berry Sorbet, Fine Linen, Scarlet Jewel, and True Black

Black White and Plum: Yum ;)
I LOVE the color challenge over on The Play Date Cafe this week! There are just sooooooooo many possibilities for these colors! I chose Halloween, but I'm also thinking of doing a Christmas and Thinking of You card with these colors as well! :) Here is my take...
Isn't that color combo fun?! I was inspired by Arielle of Snappy Stappin' w/ Arielle's style. I adore it! She is super amazing!
Here are a few more angles and the Color Story is in the bottom right. ;)
I had tons of fun making this card, so I hope you like it. I would love to hear your thoughts so please leave a comment if you wish. ;)

Ah, Freshly Made, There You Are ;)
It's been a long time since I've played along with Freshly Made Sketches. I've been a bit busy these last couple of weeks and haven't done but a few challenges... anyhoo, here is my take on this weeks sketch (which you can find HERE.)
Still making a few Halloween cards. ;)
I love that WOW Glitter from American crafts. It works beautifully when you want to glitter up a die cut, and that brown is gorgeous IRL. ;)
Here is a close up, and another angle...

CASE Study #110
Hello. I have played along with CASE Study again this week. ;) I love this challenge site, it's one of my favorites. :) I'm almost at the end of my Halloween card making, but not the end of the crafting in general. I still have a few more Halloween projects I want to finish up before our party and I still need a few more cards...
Here is my card for this weeks CASE Study challenge...
I don't have the larger Mat Stacks to coordinate with the ones I already have (yet, lol) so I improvised a little and cut the black one in half so it would shadow the top and bottom. ;)
Here are a few more angles and the muse's card (in the top right corner.)
Have I mentioned that I LOVE this new Night and Fall stack by Recollections? It's got really awesome fall colors! :)
Hope you like it. I would love to hear your thoughts so please leave a comment if you wish. :)

A Retro/CASology ;)
I've been combining challenges lately and I normally don't do that on a regular basis...hmmm. ;) Guess I've just been inspired by more than one thing at a time lately, lol. ;)
I've decided to combine the CASology Challenge #11
with the Retro Sketches#29 Challenge.
Here is my card...
I've always loved it when people use the negatives from their die cuts to make something else. I think it's a great way to use as much of your paper as possible. ;) I also love the white on white...I forget about it sometimes, but it's a really wonderful effect. ;)
Here are some more angles and the sketch is in the bottom left corner. ;)
Hope you like it. I enjoyed making it. :) I would love to hear your thoughts so please leave a comment if you wish.
Supply List:
Cardstock: PTI Stamper's Select White
Stamps: PTI Happy Haunting
Ink: PTI True Black
Dies: PTI Happy Haunting, Double Ended Banners
Other: Foam Tape
Another CASE Study Halloween :)
I think I'm a little obsessed with Halloween. ;) I can't help it, I love it! :) LOL! I decided to play along with the CASE Study challenge and the muse's card gave me a cute (scary?) idea for a skeleton card.
I interpreted the scalloped bordered on the muse's card as drips. I like how it looks as though the pattern is dripping away...
Here are some more angles and the muse's card (in the bottom right corner.)
Hope you like it. I would love to hear your thoughts so please leave a comment if you wish. :)

A CAS-ual "Less Is More" Fridays (On A Monday hehe!)
The challenge over on "Less is More" this week is to use and oval. The challenge over on CAS-ual Fridays is to used Black and White + One...so I thought I could combine the two. ;) Two birds with one stone and all that...but really the two together inspired me to make this card, which was fun, and I think it came out rather cute. Or scary, depending if you like spiders or not. Lol!
I LOVE the little glitter black on black spider web at the top. It's just enough without being too much...you know what I mean? ;)
Here are a few more angles...
Hope you like it, it was fun to make and came together so easily! It could be fun to make a set with different images in the oval...hmmm... ;)
I would love to hear your thoughts so please leave a comment if you wish. :)
Supply List:
Cardstock: PTI True Black
DP: Recollections Boo Who? stack and Colorbok Black Glitter
Stamps: PTI Tremendous Treats: Halloween and Mr. Bones (for the sentiment)
Ink: PTI New Leaf and Archival Brilliance Platinum Planet

The Play Date Cafe #149
Whew, it's been awhile since I've played along over on the Play Date Cafe blog. I love the colors this week, and when I saw this new Recollections Fall and Night stack at Michael's I thought I could use the cute-sy Halloween paper for a cute little Halloween card. Normally I am a scary Halloween person, but I LOVE the colors in this stack and they are a close match to the colors for this weeks challenge...so I went for it. And I just adore this card. :)
Isn't that paper fun?!
I used the PTI Heart Border die to create the scalloped edging. I've seen it done before and wanted to try it out. ;)
Here are a few more angles, and the color pallet.
Hope you like it. I would love to hear your thoughts so please leave a comment if you wish. :)

What?! Not A Halloween Card?!
LOL! I've been working on Halloween stuff pretty intensely these last few weeks. But I got some happy mail the other day courtesy of Jay Gee's Nook (I was a randomly drawn winner! Woohoo!) and I had to play with my new stamps! :) It is a super cute Owl set from Jane's Doodles. Thank you so much Jay Gee! :)
I used this weeks Retro Sketch and I need to get my rearend in gear because the challenge closes soon! :) Haha! Here is my take...

I just love that owl don't you? The owl and the heart are actually separate stamps. I just thought it would look cuter with the heart in there to go with the sentiment. :)
Here is a close up and a different angle.
This card just kind of fell together with these adorable stamps! :)
Hope you enjoy it. I would love to hear your thoughts so please leave a comment if you wish. :)

A CASE Study Halloween :)
I know, I know...I've been quiet for awhile. Busy w/ family stuff. But good family stuff. We are doing some remodeling of the house so I will get pics up as soon as it is all done. :)
I had a little time so I decided to join in with the CASE Study Challenge this week. As most of you know I have been having trouble uploading pics (blogger wanting me to pay for more storage...what's up with that?!) Anyhoo, so you will have to follow the link to the challenge blog to see the Muse's card we are CASEing this week. :)

Banner For My Momma :)
I made this banner for my mom as well. (If you read the previous post you know that all of her decorations for ALL the holidays are still back at her old house with my brother. :) I think she liked it just a bit...lol... :)
Here are some close ups of each panel. If you notice my pics looking a bit different it's because I am now using Photobucket to upload them. I have reached my limit in Google and if I erase them they get taken off the blog (archives you know?) so I had to find another free way to share my photos....we will see how long this one lasts... :)
I cut the banner shapers with my Cricut and the B is for Boy Lite cartridge. It was super fun to make! :)

Halloween Decor #2
Woo Hoo I figured it out! Now I just need to figure out how to make the pics smaller... ;)
ETA: Sorry I didn't share details of this earlier...I was trying to figure out how to get my pics on here without having to buy extra storage from Google or anywhere else...some of us are on a budget and doesn't Google make a TON of money on advertising? Why do we have to pay for extra storage?! Kind of made me mad at the time...anyhoo...
I actually made these blocks for my Mom. she saw them is a magazine and wanted some for her apartment. (All of her decor is back in Austin still...) The mag said to use foam blocks, but I thought the foam would be too light and I couldn't find any wooden blocks at our local Michael's (we were in a hurry because Zachary was getting antsy) and so I happened upon some plastic photo cubes. They weren't too expensive, they were light enough not to hurt if they fell on your foot ;) and they were solid so if Zac got a hold of them they wouldn't be crushed to bits. :)
I used Modge Podge for the glue and sealer. I have actually never worked with Modge Podge before, and now I think I'm addicted! :)
Hope you like them. I had a ton of fun making them. :) I would love to hear your thoughts so please leave a comment if you wish. :)
Supply List:
DP: DCWV Bewitched stack and other various Stacks, Recollections Seasonal stacks, K&Company Halloween stacks, Cloud 9 Seasonal stack
Cardstock: Recollections Black
Other: Cricut Expression and Happy Hauntings Cartridge for the Letters, google eyes, Studio G bling, Modge Podge
Halloween Decor #1 :)
I've been working on some projects for the house and for our annual Halloween party. Then I saw on Nichole Heady's blog that they were doing a Halloween Inspirational Event with Mr. Bones!
How cute is that?!
So here are a couple of things I've been working on...
These are some little toilet paper roll candy boxes I made. :) Super easy!
They are going to go in the treat bags for the little ones at the Halloween Party.
These are just two of many...I am making them all different. It's more fun that way. ;) But if it comes to crunch time it's really easy to whip out a bunch of the same. :)
Hope you like them. ;) I would love to hear your thoughts so please leave a comment if you wish.
And hopefully I will be back with more...I just need to figure out how to get extra storage space for my photos because I can no longer upload them here unless I pay ;( Sad day. If anyone has any ideas for free ways to get my photos to show up here let me know. I tried Flickr and Photobucket but Blogger refuses to recognize the URL's. If I can't get this remedied soon I won't be able to post anymore without deleting my archives...what are your suggestions and/or thoughts on this subject? :)
Hope you like them. ;) I would love to hear your thoughts so please leave a comment if you wish.

Make It Monday #80
It's time for me to get into my Make It Monday #80 Making Garland card! I actually made this card a few days ago, but I'm just now getting the time to post. ;) I may do a second take...I was looking through the other entries and getting inspired! :) But for now here is the original card I decided to make...
I just love Mr. Bones. ;)
This is a super CAS card. I was a little weary of trying to make a garland this way so that it has movement. Usually I just glue in all down so it only looks like a garland, but it doesn't actually move. ;)
I'm not sure how I feel about the placement...like I said I think I will try a second time with some dancing Mr. Bones... ;) We will see if time will allow today. :)
Hope you like it. I would love to hear your thoughts so please leave a comment if you wish.

CASE Study #106
ETA: I am also linking this up with PTI's Mr's Bones' Spook Out! :)
It's the last week of the anniversary celebrations over at the CASE Study Challenge. The last hurrah is to CASE yourself. ;) I have plenty of cards that I have wanted to re-do, but I was looking through my archives and found a card I really liked and thought "Hey, I can make a cool Halloween card from this!" :) If you've been around you know I LOVE Halloween (I don't think I can say it enough! LOL!)
So here is the original card...
