"A Stitch in Time"

Cricut Cardz Challenge #102 is "A Stitch in Time." You can use any type of stitching you want, including faux stitching (which is my go to because I'm still intimidated by sewing machines and paper:) I used a 3x3 card base again. :) Here is what I came up with...
I did some "stitching" around my cute little bird with a glitter gel pen. I cut him out with my Cricut Expression using the Create A Critter cartridge. (Love that one!) I also "stitched" around the outside of the card.
I used Elmer's Craft medium pop up glue dots to give the birdie some dimension. All the patterned paper and card stock are Recollections.
The border punch is EK Success scallop with diamonds. The stamp is from my stash and I stamped it on velum and then embossed it in purple.

I just love that little birdie. I think he is adorable. :) I'm pretty pleased with how this card came out. I am challenging my self to use more doodling to add more dimension to my cards. :) Hope you like it, feedback is always appreciated! :)
