1st The Pixie Cottage Challenge (for me!)

Hello, I have been trying some new-to-me challenges lately. This is one I found through a blog I follow. (BTW I love to follow blogs through email, it's the easiest way for me to keep up with them!) It's a challenge blog called The Pixie Cottage. The DT is awesome, and sometimes I find myself just looking through all the inspiration instead of actually playing along! But this week (or last week actually, I have been procrastinating posting stuff for some reason) I decided to give it a go. The challenge is always two parts: a theme or color combo and sketch. You can use both or one or the other. I chose to use the theme of pastels to make my Mom a Mother's Day card.
I was really inspired by the background paper which is from the Recollections Seasonal stack. All of the spring papers in that stack are GORGEOUS! :)
The card stock is all Recollections as well. :)
The ribbon is from my stash and I hand cut the banner. The stamp is from my stash and I used some Martha Stewart ink to ink it up with.
Clouds have been a trend for AWHILE and this is the first time I've used them. I cut them out using my Slice (I can't remember which card.) The paper is actually glittery. It's hard to see in the photos but it's from The Paper Company (Hobby Lobby's brand) from the glitter Christmas mat stack. I used two different thickness-es (is that a word? lol) of pop dots to give the clouds each their own depth.

Well thanks for looking, I would love to hear what you think so leave a comment if you wish! :)
