Think Outside the Box

For the 2nd week of celebration for the CASE Study's Anniversary the challenge is to Think Outside the Box. Try something new to you...well I have only tried paper piecing once before with disastrous results so I stayed far far away from it. You would think it would be easy to paper piece something, but for me, it's WAY HARDER than it looks! Well, I decided to give it another go...starting out simple at first...

I took my Mummy stamp and pieced in some of his bandages...
Here is a close up of the little guy. I didn't want to do all of the bandages because I thought that would look over loaded. I like that just a few of them are different. ;)
Aren't those little glitter ghosts fun?

Anyhoo, hope you like it. :) I would love to hear your thoughts so please leave a comment if you wish.

  2. I'd never guess that you're unsure about paper piecing, this is so cool! I especially like how you cut that little newsprint bit so that it includes the word "Halloween" - fantastic!! Thanks for joining us for the CASE Study anniversary celebrations! xxx
